EE4HORECA focuses on understanding how energy is used across the HORECA value chain and where collaboration can unlock efficiency gains.
Through an in-depth mapping of the sector, the project identifies the key actors involved in hospitality services and the interactions between them, highlighting where energy consumption and environmental impacts are highest.

Building on this mapping, the project identifies and selects transferable best practices for energy efficiency at European level, showcasing solutions that can be adopted by both large companies and SMEs. These practices address not only technical measures, but also organisational and collaborative approaches that help reduce energy use more effectively.
